What, if any, longevity benefits will result from deep cryo treatment of a new set of 3.73:1 GM 7.5/7.625" ring and pinion gears. The gear set will be exposed to very high torque input during hard drag launches on slicks! Is this a proper application for these highly-stressed gears in a rear end that is otherwise optimized for such an extreme duty purpose?
