In 1983, Mike founded 1st Pioneer Trading Co., a Seattle based structural and pipe import company with sales throughout the United States and Canada. In 1987, 1st Pioneer opened a steel and piling fabrication division which continues to be successful with contracts throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Mike's focus with One Cryo is on cryogenic tempering chamber design and development, as well as new application development. 
  Shell Ewing - V.P. Operations
Shell started in the ferrous and nonferrous metals business in 1979. By 1984 at 24 years of age, he was general manager of all metals purchasing and distribution, overseeing 5 retail outlets throughout the state of Alaska. In 1985 Shell founded WeldAir Alaska, a structural steel, aluminum, and stainless distribution facility, including compressed and liquefied industrial gases, and complete welding systems and supplies. Today, as Weld Air's corporate director, he oversees operations and expansions, maintaining a consistent 20% + annual sales growth.
